All paintings are oil paint on canvas, often combined with acrylic paint. The whole process is very time-consuming as each painting consists of several layers of paint and each level of the painting has to dry before a new level can be created. The drying-process, with or without various drying materials, is planned in a way so it adds new structures to the next layer of paint.

This process of building up the paintings in layers - and scratching off paint again - is essential. Hereby the textural effect and depth in the colours are created. And hopefully, this all gives the spectator new details to discover.
